Offered here is a beautiful original signed etching titled “La Petite Mare” by August-Louis Lepere, plate signed with initials in the lower right of the plate, and also signed in pencil in the lower right. It appears to be numbered 3/3, followed by “HT”. There is a gallery label affixed to the back from Frederick Keppel & Co., a very well known dealer of fine prints in New York City in the early 20th century. The address of the gallery dates this label to between 1905 and 1920. This print was produced in 1908. The image measures 7 x 10.5 inches, and framed measures 14.5 x 17.75 inches. I was unable to find another copy of this print for sale at the time of listing, only in museum collections. Framed and ready to hang.
