This came from the estate of an avid collector of Provincetown art (see our other listings for more art from this collection). Image measures 4.5 x 5.5 inches, and framed measures 9.5 x 10.75 inches. Archivally framed, in excellent condition and ready to hang.

Albert Edel was born in Soultz-les-Bains, France in 1894. He died in Provincetown in 1970. He is buried in Franklin, Massachusetts. Though he painted in both oil and watercolor, he is best known for his intimate etchings of Provincetown of which he did approximately 60 different scenes over the years.
